    Transition is the area between the Baseline and the Non-Volley Zone Line. Typically, the 5th shot of the rally will be in the Transition zone. The 5th shot will be taken by either of the serving team players and allows the team to move under control to the Non-Volley Zone Line. Intermediate Level – 3.0 to 3.75

    Join us for this fun, two-hour clinic designed especially for players from Beginner to Level 3.0.  BRPC's coaches will work with you to help improve three specific skills: Dinking, Serve & Return, and moving through the Transition Zone. What is the "Transition Zone"?  Join this clinic and find out!

    After a warm-up period, you'll spend 20 minutes working on each skill, rotating between courts. At the end of the skill sessions, you'll play a full game, incorporating what you've learned in order to help you develop "muscle memory".

    Please arrive on time, and make sure you bring plenty of water for this clinic.  You'll get a work-out and have lots of fun!

    Do you want to discover the joy of pickleball in a fun, supportive environment?

    Join certified Blue Ridge Pickleball Club (BRPC) instructors for a free "Introduction to Pickleball" class!

    During this 2-hour class you will learn basic rules and scoring, court positioning, player etiquette and the fundamental skills to get you started. By the end of the class, you'll be playing "the fastest growing sport in America".

    We provide all the necessary equipment, so if you don't have a paddle, don't worry. If you do have your own paddle, bring it.  Be sure to wear court-type tennis shoes and bring your own water.

    Plan on arriving at least 5 minutes prior to start time.

    Are you ready?  Zero-Zero-Two!  Game on!
