About Pickleball
Welcome to the dynamic world of Pickleball, America's fastest-growing sport! Originating in 1965 on Bainbridge Island, Washington, Pickleball was invented by three dads seeking to entertain their bored children. This innovative game has since blossomed into a beloved sport nationwide. Our club in the heart of Blue Ridge, Georgia is proud to be a part of this legacy with four premier outdoor courts, six indoor courts, and a quickly growing community of members.
Pickleball offers a unique blend of tennis, ping pong, and badminton, played on a court similar in size to a badminton court but with a net set lower, similar to tennis. The paddles are lightweight, made from materials like graphite and composite, while the ball is a light, plastic, perforated sphere akin to a whiffle ball.
Our club is dedicated to making Pickleball accessible to everyone. We provide development and competitive opportunities for players of all levels. Check out our events page for details on upcoming socials, skills clinics, and tournaments.
